Allana Ferguson bio
Allana participated for Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013 and then sustained a series of injuries to her knees which made Allana to retire from the field. Allana returned to playing cricket after some time. Allana played in her first women's rugby union game that was played with New South Wales in 2013 and was the star of the game against Queensland. Allana added radio to the roster, and makes regular appearances as part of the 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Outside of sport Allana is a trained teacher. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos star and qualified teacher outside of sport and has represented Australia three times in touch football, in rugby league and also rugby sevens. Jillaroos star Allana Ferguson is forced to bring an early end to her rugby league career following a tear to her ACL for the fourth time. Ferguson tore the ACL 4 times in the past age 15, 17 and twenty. The fourth time she was injured, her professional career was ended. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and the fourth year player to be injured in the ACL, needed to quit early. Ferguson has confirmed to The Courier Mail that she had the injury while training in the month of November. She has been a face of women's Rugby League for several seasons.
