Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actor best recognized for her role as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired from 2015 to present. Her previous role as a Lebanese American teenager Jasira, who goes through an array of struggles with the backdrop of the U.S. war in Iraq was in Alan Ball's movie Towelhead. The following year she was voted one of Variety's Ten Actors to See. In 2009, she was the strong Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for this film. She also appeared in films such as the Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and has played several guest roles on television apart from playing the co-lead in Lucky 7.
